The chemistry labs staff are specialists in the different scientific area of chemistry, veterinary and agriculture who hold Master of Science (MSc), Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Diploma, that supervised by consultant academic staff from Universities (PhD holder).
Participation in several international and local conferences and workshops has been done to develop and enhance labs staff capability and skills. Therefore, the laboratory has obtained an excellent reputation locally and internationally, where the chemistry labs awarded several international accreditation certificates. The chemistry labs confirm the full implementation of the quality standards.

The certificate awarded to chemistry laboratories:
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for laboratory tests of foodstuff. Depending on the above document, the accreditation certificate has been obtained from the Iraqi organisation for accreditation (IQAS) since 2018 and renewed before expiration date. The last renew of IQAS validity is from 18/02/2021 to 17/02/2023.
