The New Standard labs depend on the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which is a unique specification for labs, measurements, analysis and calibration that dependent by the International Standards Organization (ISO).

ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard that specifies the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, The main purpose of ISO/IEC 17025 is to ensure that laboratory results are reliable, accurate, and have a high degree of validity. It requires laboratories to have a quality management system in place that covers all aspects of laboratory operations, including personnel, facilities, equipment, methods, data management, and customer service.

ISO/IEC 17025 is widely recognized and accepted in many countries as a benchmark for laboratory competence. It is also a requirement for laboratories seeking accreditation from national accreditation bodies. Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 provides a level of assurance to customers and other stakeholders that a laboratory has the necessary competence and resources to deliver accurate and reliable results.
